A Sticky Situation

During a survey inspection the occupier left me in the lounge whilst she went into the kitchen to make some tea.

The French doors leading to the garden were slightly open and leaves and twigs had gathered on the lounge floor. I thought I’d do the occupier a favour and started throwing them back outside. The occupier came back in and started screaming “My stick insects! I was cleaning their cage!” Stick insects are well named. They do indeed look like sticks. This left me in a very “sticky” situation and very embarrassed. All I could do was apologize profusely.
